Just round the way from their first location, in the old Snusville neighborhood, the people running the first Honduran restaurant have opened a new one. This one has a larger kitchen, seating space, and a sound system that can fit a musical act or karaoke maybe.

El Rincón Catracho Honduran Restaurant in Des Moines, Iowa
El Rincón Catracho took over the space formerly occupied by Martha’s Cookery and they didn’t bother to change the signage or the colors at first. The menu includes Mexican and Honduran foods and breakfast.
Location: 3310 East 14th St.
Specialties: meats served with fried bananas and Honduran snacks like baleada or pastelitos.
